Our Mission
We are a group of Veterinary Science and Veterinary Nursing students that foster and rehome kittens from our community. CIG is dedicated to providing exceptional care and finding loving homes for kittens in need. Our team is committed to ensuring the well-being of every furry baby that comes through our doors.
We put in countless hours to ensure that our foster kittens are not just healthy, but also happy and thriving.
We also work closely within our community to manage feral populations and provide top-notch medical care for our furry friends.
Join us in making a difference, one kitten at a time!

Recent Activities
On the 2nd of February the CIG committee and some student volunteers organised a sterilisation day for feral cat colonies in Onderstepoort and the surrounding areas.
With the help of amazing doctors, nurses and students 10 cats were removed from the breeding population. We also took 15 kittens into foster care from the feral colony.
CIG has helped sterilise more than 15 cats this year as part of our TNR initiative, where cats are trapped, sterilised and released all in an effort to decrease the number of stray cats in our communities.
Our goal is to expand our TNR campaigns in future to address the larger feral cat populations in Pretoria.
Thank you
Montego for keeping our kittens tummies full
Neelam Bayat for keeping our babies comfortable
